Mexican Corn Husks is used for steaming and making Tamale dishes.

Commonly used in Latin cooking, specifically to make tamales, corn husks can also be used as a natural wrapping for meat, fish, and other fillings.

Corn Husks must be soaked prior to use so they will become pliable.

Corn husks are the outer covering of an ear of corn. Commercially bought Corn husks are commonly the whole husk and are sun, air or oven dried.
The most common fillings are pork and chicken, in either red or green salsa or mole and wrapped in corn husks. Another traditional variation is to add pink-colored sugar to the corn mix and fill it with raisins or other dried fruit and make a sweet tamal de dulce.
